ROADS, HIGHWAYS AND INTERSTATES
During new highway construction and when roads become damaged due to storms or other natural disasters, customers call upon LaLonde to support them with high quality earth moving equipment. In 2011, a ten-mile stretch of the 405 freeway closed for 60 hours in so that an overpass could be knocked down. Lalonde was one of the closely watched equipment suppliers that helped complete the project in time and under budget. When a 50-mile stretch of the 10 freeway was shut down in 2015 due to a bridge collapse that occurred during a flash flood in the Mojave Desert, LaLonde equipment and crews were on the scene on a round the clock emergency basis to restore freeway access on this critical stretch of the interstate. LaLonde equipment is also being used on the 91 Freeway expansion project in Corona which will improve traffic flow and reduce congestion by adding additional regular and toll express lanes as well as new connections between the 91 and Interstate 15.
PARKS AND RECREATION
LaLonde provides earth moving rental equipment support for the construction and rehabilitation of parks across Southern California. We recently assisted with the transformation of the former Marine Corps Air Station in Tustin into the Orange County Great Park. Spanning approximately 1,300 acres, the Great Park embraces environmental sustainability, preserves Orange County’s agricultural heritage, and honors the military history of the former air base. LaLonde also provided support for the Machado Lake Ecosystem Rehabilitation project In Harbor City. LaLonde provided earth moving equipment to assist with park landscaping, irrigation and the installation of catch drains to remove pollutants from urban runoff.

FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT
LaLonde Equipment Rental supplies earth moving equipment rentals for a wide variety of projects undertaken by federal, state and local government agencies. Working for the County of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, we provide rental equipment support for maintenance of debris basins, installation of water trunk lines, river conduit improvements, dust mitigation efforts, generating station upgrades and more. LaLonde also assists in emergency cleanup efforts after mudslides or other natural disasters. At the federal level, we have supplied heavy equipment rentals for many government installations including the Marine Corps Bases in Camp Pendleton and 29 Palms.
The Ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach and San Diego are continuously improving facilities and infrastructure to more efficiently support cargo movement. Recently, we provided equipment rental support to contractors working on the Long Beach Middle Harbor Terminal Redevelopment project which will combine two aging shipping terminals into the most technically advanced container terminal in the world. LaLonde equipment was used for demolition and recycling of existing asphalt and concrete, mass grading, and construction of a new storm drain, sewer and water utility infrastructure.
AIRPORT RUNWAYS AND TERMINALS
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is currently undergoing a multi-billion dollar development program. At the center of this program is the new Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) which includes runway improvements designed to accommodate the new larger aircraft that many airlines are now flying into LAX. LaLonde recently assisted in the demolition of one of the runways at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The project involved breaking up concrete on the old runway and removing the resulting debris. Using excavators equipped with hydraulic breakers, the LaLonde team worked around the clock to efficiently remove the old runway, clear debris and prepare the site for construction of a new runway that would safely serve LAX departure and arrival operations.
